Download your Jira calendar events as formatted PDF documents or Excel spreadsheets. This is useful for reporting, sharing event lists with stakeholders who do not have Jira access, printing schedules, or keeping an offline copy of your calendar data.

PDF and Excel export is available to all users with calendar access — no admin permissions required.

How to Export Back to top

  1. Open the calendar you want to export
  2. Click the Export button in the calendar toolbar (located next to the view buttons)
  3. The Export dialog opens with configuration options
  4. Select your preferred format, date range, and columns
  5. Click Export to download the file

Format

Choose between two output formats:

  • PDF — a formatted document suitable for printing, presentations, and email attachments
  • Excel — a spreadsheet file (.xlsx) suitable for data analysis, filtering, and further processing

Date Range

Select a Start date and End date to define which events are included. The maximum range is 365 days. Only events that fall within this window will appear in the export.

Columns

Choose which data columns to include in the export. Available columns are split into two groups:

Group Available Columns
Issue columns Issue Type, Status, Priority, Assignee, Reporter, Project, Labels, Components, Custom Fields
Event columns Participants, Link, Description

PDF Export Back to top

The PDF export generates a professionally formatted document with:

  • Table layout with auto-sized columns based on content width
  • Styled header row with column names
  • Page numbers for multi-page exports
  • Clean formatting suitable for printing or attaching to emails and presentations

Excel Export Back to top

The Excel export generates an .xlsx spreadsheet with:

  • Styled header row with bold column names
  • Auto-width columns sized to fit the data
  • Filterable data — use Excel's built-in filter and sort features to analyze the exported events
  • Ready for pivot tables, charts, and further data processing
To export as an ICS feed (Google Calendar, Outlook), JSON, or embedded public calendar, click the edit icon next to the calendar name and select Export Settings. These options are available for calendar administrators only.
